Yard-portable, versatile blast machine that removes contamination, corrosion, mill scale, and coatings from most surfaces. It produces a uniform surface texture and creates a surface profile to increase bonding for coatings.
CAPACITY • Holds 6 cuft of media; 600 lbs of expendable mineral abrasive.
1.25” PIPING • Provides about 30 minutes of blasting at 100 psi with a No. 6 nozzle. • Supplies up to 50% more airflow than 1” piping.
PRESSURE VESSEL • Heavy-gauge vessel meets ASME specifications for 150-psi working pressure. • Hydrostatically tested and National Board certified. • Semi-elliptical head provides larger abrasive storage. • Conical 35˚ bottom for uninterrupted abrasive flow and complete emptying. • Large 6” x 8” inspection doors eases access to vessel interior.
FSV METERING VALVE • Smooth, consistent, adjustable media flow. • Abrasive flows at a 45° angle; eliminates premature wear found in 90° valves.
TLR REMOTE CONTROLS • Fast, safe pressure-release remotes with solid brass valves for years of dependability. • Complies with OSHA regulation 1910.244 (b).
POP-UP VALVE • Urethane-coated with external pressure sleeve for long life and fast pressurization. • Optional valve umbrella relieves load pressure when hopper is in place.
OTHER COMPONENTS • Industrial-quality valves, piping, and fittings maximize airflow and minimize energy usage. • Chrome-plated, forged-brass ball valve with brass body increases durability. • Flexible pusher line promotes air flow without pressure loss caused by elbows and the hose flexibility eases valve replacement. • Self-cleaning exhaust muffler greatly reduces bleed-off noise.
