The H8279 Boring Bar is just about the only way to get precision bores and spec’d finishes in the toughest alloys when facing those blind bore ends or shoulders.
It features flats on the shanks for holding the carbide inserts.
Inserts are not included. The H8335 Carbide Inserts for steel, stainless, and cast-iron or the H8336 Carbide Inserts for aluminum are available.
Uses hardened Torx® screw for securing inserts. Torx® wrench included.
The H8279 comes with a 1-year warranty assuring the set is free from factory defects.
