Solidly made of all-steel construction, this 1 HP machine features an adjustable sanding belt arm for mounting 2″ x 72″ abrasive belt is cool-running and can be used with the platen and adjustable angle tool rest for accurate sanding/shaping/grinding use. The belt arm also rotates, and can be set at any angle from 0-90-0 degrees! Working on the 8″ rubber-faced drive wheel or above the platen also allows for extra working flexibility when shaping projects. The Spring loaded top idler wheel makes tracking belts, and the changing of belts a fast and simple task. This Belt Sander & Buffer will be a faithful addition to any workshop to tackle sanding jobs, grinding to sharpening tools or making knives.
