This floorplate two-post lift is especially useful for garages with lower ceilings, taller vehicles, or layouts where an overhead beam would get in the way. The AL9LC keeps the workspace open above the vehicle while providing dependable frame-engaging lifting capability, making it a smart fit for small shops, performance garages, and home mechanics who want real two-post lift performance without giving up usable vertical space.
Flexible Arm Reach for Faster Vehicle Positioning
Proper vehicle setup matters on any two-post car lift, and the AL9LC is built to make positioning faster and more predictable. Symmetric and asymmetric arm configurations allow technicians to adapt the lift arm layout to the vehicle, helping create balanced contact with approved lifting points across a wide range of cars and light trucks.
Triple-telescoping front arms and dual-stage extended rear arms provide extra reach for different wheelbases and frame designs. The AL9LC uses a proven chain-over lifting system built around an industrial-grade, high-strength leaf chain manufactured to ANSI standards. This design is engineered for repeated lifting cycles, dependable load movement, and low-maintenance operation in busy shop and garage environments.
Heavy-duty 6-inch by 6-inch tubular steel carriages provide serious load-bearing strength, while oversized 20.5-inch by 15.5-inch base plates help distribute vehicle weight for improved stability. Oversized heavy-duty rollers with Zerk grease fittings and self-lubricating UHMW polyethylene guide blocks reduce friction and help keep the lift operating smoothly over time.
Automatic Safety Locks and BendPak-Backed Support
The AL9LC is designed with safety features throughout. Automatic safety locks engage every 3 inches throughout the lifting range, helping hold the load securely at working height. Automatic arm restraints help prevent unwanted arm movement once the vehicle is raised, giving technicians more confidence during service.
The AL9LC was previously sold under the GrandPrix name and now fits into the APEX lineup as part of BendPak’s broader value-focused product family.
