Turn spent aerosol cans into recyclable steel with the Original Aerosolv 5000 Aerosol Can Disposal System – a staple for safe aerosol recycling practices nationwide. This aerosol can puncture device helps avoid fines with safe disposal processes in-house, while protecting the environment. Composed of aircraft aluminum with all stainless steel parts, the unit includes a puncturing device, combination coalescing activated carbon filter, anti-static wires and safety goggles.
The Aerosolv 5000 is easy to install and use. Mount the aerosol can puncture device on either a 30- or 55-gallon drum with a standard 2 and ¾-inch bung. It accepts domed mini, standard and jumbo aerosol cans. To use, place can into the housing sleeve so that the shoulder of the can rests on the gasket. Lock lid to secure in place, and push down on the handle. The non-sparking angled pin pierces the can, allowing residual liquids to flow directly into the collection drum. The two-piece coalescing filter and carbon cartridge captures odors and potentially harmful VOCs.
