T33150 3-Speed HEPA Hanging Air Filter It’s no secret that woodworking machines create fine dust particles. The T33150 Small Advanced Hanging Air Filter clears the room of the fine dust particles that your dust collection system doesn’t capture. Outfitted with rubber feet, it can easily be placed on a workbench.
The air filter can be set to operate in three air flow speeds—400, 500, and 620 CFM. To cycle through the available speeds, press the Fan Speed button on the control panel or remote control repeatedly.
HEPA stands for high efficiency particulate air. The HEPA filter in the T33150 traps small, harmful particles, such as saw dust, pollen, pet dander, and dust mites down to 0.3 microns with a MERV-17 rating at 99.97%.
For reference, a human hair is between 50–70 microns in diameter, meaning the T33150 collects particles 230 times smaller!
A quick glance at the built-in filter quality monitor indicates when 0.3-micron HEPA filter or the activated carbon filter needs replacing. A blue light on the control panel or remote control indicates normal operations; a red light means the filter needs replacing.
When the machine is on, the Grizzly bear head doubles as an air quality indicator. The bear lights up green when the air is of optimal quality. It changes to orange when the air needs increased filtering and red when max fan speed is suggested.
The air filter can be set for a timed performance of 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. At the end of this time, the air filter will automatically turn OFF.
The Auto function detects the air quality and adjusts filtration speed based on the current air quality. When enabled, the Auto indicator will shine blue on both the control panel and remote.
Like all Grizzly air filters, the T33150 comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects.
The T33150 manual was written by our U.S.-based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your filter.
