Sized for most benchtop lathes, the curved rod of the T33662 9" Stainless Steel Bowl Turner's Tool Rest allows the turner to keep the turning tool as close as possible to the shape of the bowl or other curved turnings.
This makes for better tool control and increased safety.
There are two distinctive curves for use:
The angular curve easily shapes tighter outside faces and works interior spaces.
The sweeping curve is perfect for contouring larger bowls, shallow platters, and general bowl turning.
T33662 is made of rustproof stainless steel which is known for its strength and being damage-resistant.
