Made with premium Ceramic Carbide abrasive grains, the T34036 3" x 79" Sanding Belts hit the desired balance between performance and cost.
Ceramic abrasive is known for its exceptional hardness, toughness, and high-performance characteristics in grinding, cutting, and hard metals and materials.
A 5-pack containing 40, 60, 80, 100, and 120-grit belts provide a cost-effective solution and ensure you're equipped with the right abrasives for a range of tasks. This assortment caters to various sanding needs, from heavy material removal to fine surface finishing, eliminating the need to buy each grit individually.
It is important to sequence your sanding from a lower number to a higher number without bypassing more than one grit. Doing so may not remove the marks from the rougher grit.
The 3" x 79" size is ideal for use on knife grinders–especially on the Grizzly G0489G0952 and the G0972.
Within the belt thickness rating system, the X-weight backing extremely heavy-duty cloth is used for tough application.
Built to last, the added strength of this backing ensures that the belt stays in place and doesn't wear out too quickly, even with heavy use.
The combination of a robust backing and aggressive abrasive grains makes it suitable for removing material quickly and efficiently.
These belts can be run in either direction and are flexible for easy contouring and shaping of your knife edges.
