The Mark E. Industries® Goof Proof® Shower Seat is a heavy duty stay-in-place molded plastic form that can be installed and tiled in the same day. The shower seat is 30" (762 mm) wide but has guide marks on the top surface to be easily trimmed to 24" (610 mm) wide. Included are two level vials to indicate the proper minimum water drainage slope of 1/4" (6.4 mm) per 12" (305 mm) run. For new installations, install the seat over the wallboards and secure into blocking between the studs using six 2-1/4" (57.2 mm) screws. For retrofit installations, install the seat over the tile and secure with screws into six plastic toggle anchors.
