TS 55 FEQ

The TS 55 FEQ-F-Plus is the most popular Festool track saw: light, accurate, and deep enough for 3/4 in. sheet goods with plenty to spare. It is the default choice for cabinet and furniture shops.

TS 60 KEB and TSV 60

The TS 60 KEB adds depth and a brushless motor for thicker material. The TSV 60 KEB adds a scoring blade that pre-cuts the bottom face, giving chip-free edges on both faces of laminate and HPL.

TS 75 EQ

The TS 75 EQ is the deepest-cutting Festool track saw, for solid-wood slabs, stair treads and doors. Also available as a kit with a 75 in. FS 1900 rail.

Cordless TSC 55 K and HKC 55

The TSC 55 K matches the TS 55 cut on two 18V batteries. The HKC 55 is a carpentry saw designed for FSK crosscut rails, for framing, decking and rafters.

TS 55 or TS 60: which Festool track saw should I buy?
Choose the TS 55 if you mostly cut sheet goods up to about 1-1/2 in. thick; it is lighter and less expensive. Choose the TS 60 if you regularly cut 2 in. hardwood, countertops or deep bevels, since it cuts about 7 mm deeper and has a brushless motor.

What guide rail length do I need for a Festool track saw?
For ripping an 8 ft sheet lengthwise you need about 106 in. of rail, either the FS 2700 or an FS 1400 (55 in.) joined to an FS 1080 or FS 1400 with connectors. For crosscutting a 4 ft sheet, an FS 1400 or FS 1900 covers the cut with room for the saw to start and finish.

What is the difference between the TSC 55 K and the HKC 55?
The TSC 55 K is a plunge-cut track saw for finish work on standard FS rails. The HKC 55 is a carpentry saw with a fixed blade guard that runs on short FSK crosscut rails with a built-in return spring, for fast square crosscuts on lumber.

Why would I need the TSV 60 scoring track saw?
A scoring blade cuts a shallow groove in the bottom face just ahead of the main blade, so coated panels such as laminate, HPL and melamine come off the saw with no chipping on either face. Use it if you cut a lot of coated material.

Do Festool track saws work on other brands of guide rails?
Festool track saws are designed for Festool FS and FSK rails. Some other rails share the profile, but the splinter guard and anti-slip strips on Festool rails are what give the clean, accurate edge, so we recommend staying on Festool rails.
